RAMS/ Construction Site Assessments

Over the last 10 years there has been a spotlight on heath and safety in the work place particularly in relation to the construction industry. In April 2015 CDM (construction design and management) regulations came into force replacing CDM 2007 and have since been a working document under review until they were signed off in 2019 to become the new legal standard for health and safety in construction. This is the law that applies to the whole construction process on all construction projects, from concept to completion and dictates what each duty holder must or should do to comply with the law to ensure projects are carried out in a way that secures health and safety.

Being that Capital Risk Consultancy stems from a construction background and wanting to make improvements to health and safety within the industry we are passionate about making a change and ensuring that constructions sites are as safe as reasonably possible. We understand how busy the sites can become how much there is for each individual on site to manage. That is why we offer our RAMS/ Site assessments.

How we ensure your RAMS/ Site Assessment needs are met;

-As with all of our services at Capital Risk Consultancy you will be allocated a named Admin contact as well as a named Risk Assessor. The Risk Assessor will have a background in construction to ensure they have a good knowledge of the industry. This is to ensure you know who to contact should you have any questions related to the services you require.

-Upon initial inquiry we will try to establish an overview of your requirements as well as an understanding of the site and construction outcomes. This will enable us to tailor our service to your individual requirements and ensure any site visits are conducted in the least disruptive manner.

-The Risk Assessor will conduct a site visit to complete a RAM/risk assessment as well as discuss any document review timelines and TED Talk requirements. Whilst on this visit they will inspect any risk mitigation features you already have in place so if necessary they are able to recommend more effective measures when they present you with their findings.

-Upon the completion of the RAM/risk assessment you will receive a digital copy of the RAM/risk assessment for your records as well as a signing sheet for on site staff to complete to confirm they have read and understood the documentation.

-They will then work with you to meet the recommended changes if required and setting a renewal schedule to ensure legislative compliance.

-As with all Capital Risk Consultancy’s services all of our clients benefit from our included liability and legal coverage and advice service.
